Injured Eagle Captured

On February 27th, the Conservation Board received a call about an injured eagle. Naturalist Lisa Ralls and Natural Resource Technician Nicole Templeton (pictured) headed out and found the eagle a few miles southeast of Buffalo Center. They managed to capture the bird, which appeared to have an injured wing. The bird was then transported to Algona where it was handed off to a volunteer who took it to a rehabber. The WCCB was glad to be able to help this bird out and hopes that the care the eagle will receive will help it to recover from its injuries!
