The WCCB has instituted changes at the Hogsback Shooting Range, northwest of Lake Mills. The shooting range is now open Wednesday through Saturday, and closed Sunday through Tuesday. Shooting hours are from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM every day the range is open, throughout the year. Beginning October 4th, people will also need an annual permit to shoot at the range. To acquire a permit, all shooters will need to take an online course and a review test. Upon successful completion of both of those, people will be able to purchase a permit. Permits will cost $30/individual or $35/family. More information is available on the WCCB web page and people can contact the WCCB at 641-565-3390 for more information.
