The Hanson Nature Center will not be open on Saturdays during the winter months, but will continue to be open during the week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the Center will be open from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, and it will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 PM. It will be also be open when someone is there working, as well as by appointment. Contact the Conservation Board at 641-567-3390 if you have any questions about when the Center will be open duiring the winter.

The County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year County tax asking as follows:

At the public hearing any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy. After the hearing of the proposed tax levy,the Board will publish notice and hold a hearing on the proposed county budget.
