Due to the bitterly cold temperatures, we are canceling our Janaury 23rd Indoor Winter Stargazing Program this evening at the Hanson Nature Center. Although the program was to have been indoors, traveling in extremely cold weather is generally not recommended. So, we invite you instead to watch for our Spring Stargazing Program, which will most likely be scheduled for April. Hopefully, our temps will be above zero by then!

The County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year County tax asking as follows:

At the public hearing any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy. After the hearing of the proposed tax levy,the Board will publish notice and hold a hearing on the proposed county budget.
