Information Technology Director
Winnebago County is accepting applications for a full-time Information technology Director.
Knowledge – Experience operating and managing computer LANs/WANs (including wireless), Experience working in virtualization, Windows operating systems, Windows server environment, firewalls and Microsoft SQL and Office 365. Be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be reliable, responsible and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
Position requires a high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and present information and respond to county officials, employees and the general public. Must also have the ability to work under pressure, time constraints and deadlines and to manage financial resources and account for expenditures. Degree in IT field or 4 years combined education and experience required. Salary based on experience. Background and criminal checks will be completed.
